Traditional Resources is a 501 C-3 nonprofit sober living residential facility for individuals in early recovery. The facilities are self managed and each member is expected to adhere thoroughly to all rules, policies and guidelines. The focus of Transitional Resources is to provide individuals with a supportive environment, in which, to recover from recent alcohol and drug abuse. Members are held responsible for their immediate living area, meals and weekly membership payments. Our residents learn personal responsibility and accountability as they make an investment in themselves. House members are held responsible for rule enforcement and determine appropriate actions when infractions occur.
Our residents apply from a variety of sources including concerned individuals, courts, social service agencies, local law enforcement and churches. All of these individuals are in need of a safe, secure place to regain sobriety and begin to “put his/her life back together.” It is the goal of Transitional Resources to assist individuals to take the first step in rebuilding family relationships, resolving legal issues, and becoming useful and productive members of our community.
Transitional Resources fulfills an important role in our area by providing a structured, safe and supportive residential environment that is designed to help individuals who could “fall through the cracks” in our local network of private, non-profit, and governmental programs. Transitional Resources is not selling a program, but offering a place where men and women can develop and practice the knowledge and skills necessary to “learn how to live life on life’s terms.”
